Blake's 1st Birthday

Blake had another birthday party with just family! Grandma made him the cutest little BEAR for his first birthday cake! He absolutely loved it and probably would have eaten the entire thing if I let him! It's hard to believe that our little baby is already 1. Happy Birthday Blake!

Blake's 1st Birthday Party

Blake had his 1st Birthday Party at Mimi and Poppop's house on Memorial Day, May 24th. It was supposed to be a pool party, but it rained all day! We brought the baby pool inside and filled it with beach balls for all the kids to play with - they loved it! Blake was such a good boy and loved his cupcake! Daddy gave him one little taste and then he shoved the whole thing in his mouth! It turned out to be a great day with family and friends!

Florida 2

Blake pushed his little cart through the halls of the Marriott Hotel. For some reason he thought it was the funniest thing! Here, I brought all of these toys with us, but he only wanted to go up and down the hallways! So, that's what we did! He could push that cart all day long, but still refuses to walk on his own! For a ten month old, he is already very determined!

First Family Vacation

Our first family trip in April was to Ft. Lauterdale, Florida for our friend's wedding! Blake did so well on the Airplane rides! He was such an angel and received his first wings. We stayed in our time-share at the Mariott and had Mimi and PopPop come to help us out with Blake! We took him down to the ocean but he did not like it so much! I think it was the big, loud waves that scared him! He would much rather stay at the pool with Mommy! We had a wonderful time!
